My eclectic mish-mash of books I fell in love with. They’re all totally different, but each one left a mark. Some are emotional, some are fantasy, some are messy and real, but they all stayed with me long after I finished the last page. Not one specific genre… just pure masterpieces.

Better Than the Movies – Lynn Painter
Hopeless romantic Liz wants her life to look like a rom-com—but her annoying neighbor might be the unexpected lead.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow – Gabrielle Zevin
Two childhood friends build video games together, but their emotional journey is way more complicated than code.
Why it’s great: Raw, artistic, and beautifully written. Not a romance, but still one of the most emotional love stories.
Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo
Six misfits team up for a high-stakes heist in a dark fantasy world.
Why it’s great: Definition of found family and you are guaranteed to fall in love with these characters. The writing is incredible and the storyline is captivating, I could not put this or Crooked Kingdom (the sequel) down. It’s smart and addicting.
The Song of Achilles – Madeline Miller
A heartbreaking retelling of the Iliad, centered on Achilles and Patroclus.
Why it’s great: Utterly devastating. You’ll cry, then cry again, and still love every word.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab
Addie makes a deal to live forever, except everyone she meets forgets her. Until one person doesn’t.
Why it’s great: Lyrical, haunting, and so unique. It feels like a painting in book form.
Malibu Rising – Taylor Jenkins Reid
A famous family’s secrets come to the surface during one unforgettable party in Malibu.
Why it’s great: Full of emotion, tension, and complex family dynamics. One of my favorite books I will never stop raving about it.
The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
Dorian stays forever young, while his portrait reveals the toll of his corruption.
Why it’s great: Dark, iconic, and full of beautiful, haunting quotes. A classic that you will love.
The Cruel Prince – Holly Black
Jude, a mortal, fights for power in a brutal and beautiful faerie world.
Why it’s great: Political intrigue, enemies-to-lovers, and serious dark fantasy vibes. Such an incredible series with the best plot twist ever.
The Selection – Kiera Cass
A girl competes with 34 others for a prince’s heart in a royal dystopian world.
Why it’s great: The dresses, the drama, the love triangle—it’s so fun to binge. Not just a romance but a fascinating dystopian society and incredible story, you will not be able to put this down.
We Were Liars – E. Lockhart
A privileged family. A private island. A devastating twist.
Why it’s great: Beautiful writing and a plot twist that punches you in the chest. Truly unforgettable.
Red Queen – Victoria Aveyard
Mare lives in a world divided by blood—red and silver—and discovers a dangerous power of her own.
Why it’s great: Dystopian royalty, betrayal, and shocking twists. It keeps you on edge the entire time.
The Deal – Elle Kennedy
